Dear HRASM Members,

I don’t know about you, but my mind is full of all that I have heard and learned at the Maine HR Convention and as I write this, it’s only Day Two! I’m so impressed with Bud and the team at Strategic HR for hosting such an amazing virtual experience.

As I think about the sessions I attended and the Great Leadership Series, the theme that comes through for me is Empathy. As I was thinking about Empathy I stumbled across this from Daniel Pink, “Empathy is about standing in someone else’s shoes, feeling with his or her heart, seeing with his or her eyes. Not only is Empathy hard to outsource and automate, but it makes the world a better place.”  Thank you all for your Empathy and for working to make our community and the world a better place, one employer at a time.
